| Mary Jo Skiba has been on stage in several productions over the past few years and in 2007 began her directorial debut. She directed the popular Let's Murder Marsha. Her most notable on stage roles were as Linda Lodge in Move Over Mrs. Markham, Miss Brim in Cheaper by the Dozen and her favorite, Eliza Gant in Look Homeward Angel. She has also stared as the Committee Chairperson for Marketing and Publicity at Alpena Civic Theatre for four years. In addition, she is a member of the area Cultural Arts Alliance and a past member of Toastmasters International. She works as a Clinical Data and Research Coordinator which keeps her busy when she is not involved in theatre. Mary Jo takes great pleasure in sharing the stage with her daughter Bobbi Jo (see Move Over Mrs. Markham). As a youngster, Mary Jo received her start in stage in Rogers City being cast in multiple school and community plays. |
