| Grace Morrison is renowned in Northern Michigan for her magnificent set designs as well as for being an accomplished director of stage performance. Grace has not only provided her creative talents but has been an active board member and committee chairperson for Alpena Civic Theatre since 1983. She presently shares her knowledge of play production and set design as an instructor in the Performance Fine Arts Department at Alpena Community College and as a presenter at the Community Theatre Association of Michigan Conferences. Grace has directed 14 local productions. Her favorite past directorial works are Mornings at Seven and Run For Your Wife. She says her most memorable set design, so far, was for the ACT production of Music Man. Grace has never been seen on stage, however, there would be no stage without her. Alpena is most fortunate to have her artistic expertise available to this community. |
